Field Service Technician

About the role

The Field Service Technician will perform maintenance, repair and assembly tasks on equipment in a workshop environment for Energy Equipment in Abu Dhabi. The role requires strict adherence to safety, quality standards and accurate documentation of all service activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute service, repair and assembly work following standard procedures.
• Complete and file service reports, checklists and update business systems.
• Conduct visual inspections after third‑party checks and report findings.
• Identify improvement opportunities and support problem‑solving initiatives.
• Promote and follow company Safety & Quality standards, including hazard identification and Stop Work Authority.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment failures using Root Cause Analysis.
• Maintain housekeeping standards within the workshop.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Awareness of workshop environments and physically fit for workshop work.
• Knowledge of operating overhead cranes and breakout machines.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience (considered an asset).
• Professional working proficiency in English.
