Field Specialist III – Completion

About the role

The Field Specialist III – Completion is the primary technical representative on customer well sites, responsible for planning, executing and supervising completion operations using Weatherford technologies. The role ensures safe, efficient and high‑quality delivery while providing expert troubleshooting and customer support.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and execute completion jobs in line with Weatherford and client procedures.
• Prepare completion tallies, review schematics and perform space‑out calculations.
• Install, test, troubleshoot, maintain and retrieve completion equipment and downhole tools.
• Support Smart Completion operations, including downhole gauges, ICVs and fiber‑optic systems.
• Conduct equipment inspections, pressure testing, risk assessments and post‑job reporting.
• Mentor junior field personnel and maintain accurate operational documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Petroleum or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of oilfield experience in completion operations.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with Core or Smart Completions.
• Offshore experience and certifications such as BOSIET/HUET, H2S and Offshore Medical are desirable.
