Field Support Specialist - Network

About the role

The Field Support Specialist – Network will ensure continuous IT service desk coverage and deliver high‑quality support for applications, devices and network infrastructure across Emirates Flight Catering.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain 24/7 IT service desk operations and monitor SLA performance.
• Provide first‑level escalation support for applications, operating systems, devices and LAN/WAN connectivity.
• Configure and troubleshoot network ports, hardware, printers, laptops, iPhones, iPads and docking stations.
• Deploy OS patches on desktops, Lenovo, Apple and Microsoft Surface devices using SCCM.
• Document installation and configuration procedures in the knowledge repository.
• Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to implement security controls and ensure compliance.
• Manage team performance, drive upskilling and adopt next‑generation technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of experience in on‑site IT support, network maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience with ITSM ticketing tools such as Remedy, ServiceNow, JIRA or Cherwell.

Required skills

• JIRA, ServiceNow, Remedy, Cherwell ticketing systems.
• LAN/WAN configuration and port management.
• Windows system administration and OS patch deployment via SCCM.
• Hardware support for Lenovo, Apple, Microsoft Surface, iPhone and iPad devices.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
