Finance Accountant

About the role

Comba Telecom, a global provider of wireless infrastructure and network coverage solutions, is hiring a Finance Accountant. The role supports cross-functional finance and commercial operations through accurate financial reporting, AR/AP management, inventory reconciliation and sales analytics, helping drive operational efficiency, support audits and maintain healthy cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Process and verify accounts payable and vendor payments, ensuring SLA compliance and accurate documentation.
• Manage month-end closing, general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with VAT and corporate tax filings and support internal and external audits.
• Maintain petty cash, prepaid expenses, accruals and COGS/OPEX allocations.
• Support the Finance Manager with financial analysis, ad-hoc reports and monthly reporting packages.
• Ensure timely revenue recognition and invoicing for telco customers, track deliveries and maintain revenue trackers, DN logs and payment schedules.
• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up with customers, support account managers on collections and help write off aging receivables.
• Generate and validate sales performance reports, dashboards and forecasts.
• Support quarterly internal inventory audits and semi-annual physical stock counts, reconcile inventory with delivery records and revenue systems.
• Identify automation and process improvement opportunities in invoicing, reporting and data workflows, and support the digitization of manual trackers and templates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration from a recognized university.
• 2-5 years of experience in finance operations or commercial accounting, including at least 2 years in the UAE.
• Prior exposure to the telecom/technology sector is a plus.
• Strong command of IFRS and solid knowledge of accounting, taxation and financial reporting.
• Effective communication in written and spoken English, ability to handle multiple priorities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• SAP and CRM systems.
• Advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT, corporate tax and local compliance is an advantage; professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA or CPA are a plus.
