Finance Administrator – Payroll & Tax Specialist

About the role

Bilfinger is seeking a Finance Administrator to manage payroll, tax compliance and related accounting activities for its Dubai operations. The role supports the finance team by ensuring accurate payroll processing, timely tax filings and smooth month‑end closing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly payroll data, including personal income tax and social insurance calculations, in coordination with HQ and tax advisors.
• Handle final settlements for resigned employees.
• Prepare, review and submit all tax filings (salary tax, VAT, withholding tax) and maintain the company’s tax database.
• Monitor regulatory tax law updates and communicate impacts to the Accounting Head.
• Upload invoices to the e‑invoice portal, follow up on incoming invoices and support payment processing.
• Perform month‑end account closing activities and reconciliations.
• Assist auditors during internal and external audits.
• Provide administrative support to various departments and handle government‑related processes such as commercial registration renewal, tax card and VAT certificate.
• Submit bank‑related documents when required.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Residence in Cairo (as stated in the posting).
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP) is required.
• Background in tax auditing offices or engineering consulting firms is an advantage.
• Strong numerical aptitude and flexibility.
