About the role
The Finance Assistant Manager will support the finance function of a Dubai‑based freight‑forwarding firm, handling reporting, budgeting and day‑to‑day finance operations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, budgets, forecasts and variance analyses.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and cash‑flow management.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, internal controls, audits and corporate financial policies.
- Drive financial analysis, process improvements, cost optimisation and finance‑related system projects.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in freight forwarding, logistics or multinational services.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, UAE VAT and internal controls.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with Oracle financial systems.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
