Finance Associate – Banking & Finance (Dubai)

About the role

Our client, a leading international law firm, is expanding its Banking & Finance team in Dubai. The Finance Associate will work on complex domestic and cross‑border financing transactions across the GCC, supporting high‑profile deals for lenders, private equity sponsors, sovereign wealth funds and corporate borrowers.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on a broad range of banking and finance transactions.
• Support leveraged finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance and corporate lending matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate finance documentation.
• Assist with transaction structuring, execution and legal due diligence.
• Identify transaction risks and advise on financing structures.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Corporate, Projects and Real Estate teams.
• Manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously while developing client relationships.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor status or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Previous Banking & Finance experience within a recognised practice.
• Exposure to leveraged finance, acquisition finance, corporate lending or real estate finance transactions.
• Strong drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent commercial awareness.
