Finance Associate – Emirati Talent Program

About the role

Emirates Investment Bank is launching an Emiratisation initiative to develop future banking leaders. The successful candidate will join a six‑month structured training programme at the Emirates Institute of Finance, covering foundational banking knowledge, finance specialisation, and international certifications. Upon completion, the associate will continue in a full‑time finance position within the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare basic financial schedules, internal reports and support the preparation of the bank’s IFRS‑compliant financial statements.
• Assist month‑end and year‑end closing activities and help analyse financial trends under senior supervision.
• Perform daily account reconciliations, identify discrepancies and report them to senior finance staff.
• Support the Regulatory Reporting team in preparing and submitting statutory returns to the UAE Central Bank.
• Assist the management reporting team with accurate reports for senior management.
• Contribute to the financial reporting team by preparing schedules for the financial statements.
• Participate in bank‑offered training programmes and stay updated on UAE Central Bank regulations.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or less than one year of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS and financial statement preparation.
