Finance Business Partner

About the role

Velora is looking for a Finance Business Partner in Abu Dhabi. The role manages financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders within set timelines, covering actuals tracking, ad-hoc analyses and the development of short- and long-term forecasts against board and internal targets.

Key responsibilities

• Report company performance and track progress against planned targets, including actuals versus budget and forecasted results with clear variance explanations
• Support financial planning, analysis and reporting, and drive cost analysis and key variances
• Prepare management reports, support the budget cycle, and prepare current estimates, long-term forecasts and business plans
• Support financial modelling for projects and investments, including restructuring scenarios and their cashflow impact
• Manage the generation, review, delivery and release of monthly consolidated financial data to stakeholders and finance teams
• Provide historical trend analysis and benchmark recommendations for financial and operating performance
• Work with Financial Reporting on balance sheet restructuring opportunities and set up agile reporting systems and templates

Required profile

• Master's degree in Business or Finance and a professional qualification such as CA, CIMA, MBA or ACCA
• At least 6 years of work experience, including at least 4 years in accounting, finance, budgeting and/or forecasting (3 years of airline experience preferred)
• Rigorous and analytical thinking, strong experience in financial planning and control, and advanced English communication skills
• Big Four experience is a plus
