Finance Control Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Control Associate to support hands‑on financial reporting and control activities for our client in Abu Dhabi. The role covers the full financial reporting cycle, including General Ledger, month‑end close, financial statements and related controls, and reports to the Senior Specialist in the Finance department.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support the end‑to‑end month‑end and year‑end closing process.
• Perform General Ledger activities such as journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, provisions and adjustments.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support accurate and timely monthly financial reporting and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data and compliance with internal accounting policies.
• Assist with audit requirements and provide necessary documentation.
• Identify errors, discrepancies and control gaps in financial transactions.
• Collaborate with finance teams and business stakeholders to resolve reporting issues and improve processes.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of hands‑on experience in a finance function, covering General Ledger, month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CA, CPA) preferred.
• Experience preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate financial discrepancies.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of reporting activities.
