Finance & Credit Specialist (National Talent)

About the role

The Finance & Credit Specialist will support the Dubai SME sector by delivering financial advisory and credit enablement services. The role focuses on improving SMEs' financial readiness, creditworthiness, and access to financing opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial assessments and provide guidance on financial planning, cash‑flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and performance improvement.
• Evaluate SME financing readiness, identify gaps in financial statements, business plans, and models, and recommend improvements to meet lender requirements.
• Assist SMEs in preparing accurate financial documentation for banks, investors, and financing partners.
• Deliver financial literacy sessions, workshops, and advisory clinics covering funding readiness and business sustainability.
• Support the development of financial readiness resources and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align advisory services with programme objectives.
• Contribute to building strategic partnerships with banks and financial institutions to expand financing options for SMEs.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in financial or credit analysis, SME development, investment advisory, cash‑flow analysis, and financial modelling.
• Demonstrated ability to assess business bankability and guide entrepreneurs through financing processes.
• Strong communication skills for delivering workshops and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
