Finance Executive – Assistant Finance Manager

About the role

The Assistant Finance Manager role is central to financial planning, analysis and decision‑making within the Hertz and Moov Financial Services division of Al‑Futtaim. You will partner with operational management to drive revenue, optimise costs and improve overall financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Operations to evaluate revenue, margin and cost‑saving initiatives across Rental, Leasing and Subscription businesses, and support investment decisions for fleet and non‑fleet CAPEX.
• Coordinate quarterly forecasts, budgets and cash‑flow planning, prepare monthly reporting packs and presentation decks for Business Review and Finance Review meetings.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls, develop SAP/BI reports, and drive automation using AI and modern BI tools.
• Provide ad‑hoc FP&A reporting, financial modelling and support the design and implementation of planning tools for lease, rental and subscription financial statements.

Required profile

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Corporate Finance or related field.
• Professional finance certification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience as a Financial Business Partner or FP&A professional in a large multinational or diversified corporation.
• Experience in the leasing and rental industry is preferred; automotive or financial services background is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with AI tools, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and SAP.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Ability to perform financial modelling, variance analysis and stress‑testing of forecasts.
