Finance Lead

About the role

Subsea7 is seeking a Finance Lead to coordinate day‑to‑day finance activities across five legal entities in the UAE, Qatar and Singapore. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with IFRS and local GAAP, and support regional business initiatives on a 12‑month contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary local finance contact for five entities, overseeing accounting, cash‑flow forecasting and capital expenditure management.
• Ensure timely delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in line with Group policies.
• Provide supervision, guidance and technical support to the assigned accountant.
• Serve as deputy to the Finance Manager, coordinating regional finance activities and maintaining operational continuity.
• Implement local regulatory changes, e‑invoicing and other statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with Legal, Supply Chain, HR, Treasury, Tax, Project Controls and operational teams to resolve finance‑related matters.
• Identify risks, propose practical solutions and drive continuous improvement of finance processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑entity finance operations and deliver accurate reporting.
