Finance Lead / Senior Statutory Lead

About the role

The Finance Lead / Senior Statutory Lead will manage the closing of statutory accounts, tax declarations and compliance across the Group’s entities. This senior position oversees both external and internal audits, ensuring alignment with IFRS and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage statutory accounting requirements in line with commercial, labor and tax regulations across multiple countries.
• Prepare and submit statutory reports and regulatory filings.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, withholding tax and other tax regulations; develop and monitor tax compliance policies.
• Handle tax declarations, investigations and correspondence with tax authorities.
• Lead external audits for consolidated Group accounts and individual entities.
• Coordinate company valuations and due‑diligence activities with external consultants.
• Support internal audit activities, including risk assessments, audit planning and follow‑up in coordination with the Audit Committee.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, supported by formal training or certification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a Big 4 or Big 10 audit firm, covering external audit and/or tax.
• Experience auditing or advising companies in architecture, engineering or professional services sectors.
