About the role
The Finance Manager will ensure accurate financial management, internal controls and regulatory compliance across African business units and support the offshore management team.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee month‑end closing, balance‑sheet reconciliations and financial reporting for Nigeria, Angola, Congo, Mozambique and other jurisdictions.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity and foreign‑exchange exposure, including fund repatriation to the UAE.
- Review contracts, invoicing and receivable positions, leading collection efforts for high‑risk accounts.
- Monitor operational expenditure, identify cost‑saving opportunities and optimise vessel‑related costs.
- Coordinate budgets, forecasts, MIS reports and financial analyses for senior management.
- Ensure tax compliance, oversee tax and statutory audits, and advise on tax‑efficient structures.
