Finance Manager (Arabic Speaking) – School

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function of one of its schools in Abu Dhabi. The role combines strategic financial planning with day‑to‑day operational oversight, supporting the school’s growth and compliance objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the school finance team in budgeting, forecasting, monthly closing and MIS reporting.
• Prepare annual budgets, periodic forecasts and present financial performance to the Principal and senior leadership.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and bank management, and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Oversee the school billing and collection process, including legal recovery of receivables.
• Develop and deliver training plans to improve finance team efficiency.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
• Minimum 10 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in multi‑site, fast‑growth environments and change management.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Proficiency with ERP financial systems.
• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
