Finance Manager – FMCG Manufacturing

About the role

Lead the finance function for a large‑scale FMCG manufacturing operation, overseeing a team of around 15 professionals. The role is central to driving financial performance, providing commercial insight and ensuring robust controls across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly reporting, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow analysis.
• Oversee manufacturing accounting, product costing, cost‑control initiatives and inventory valuation.
• Analyse production costs, yields, waste, labour efficiency and overall operational performance.
• Partner with production, supply‑chain and commercial teams to support pricing, margin analysis and investment decisions.
• Ensure compliance, strong financial controls and audit readiness.
• Review CAPEX proposals and monitor fixed‑asset management.
• Lead, mentor and develop a finance team of approximately 15 members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA or CA) preferred.
• 8‑12 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in a Finance Manager role.
• Proven background in FMCG or food manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated people‑management experience in sizeable teams.
