Finance Manager

About the role

NextMatch AI is expanding its operations in the United Arab Emirates and seeks a Finance Manager to own and lead the finance function for the UAE entity while supporting the broader regional footprint. Reporting directly to the founders, you will work in a fast‑moving startup environment, building simple, effective processes and providing clear financial visibility to the leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full finance cycle for the UAE entity, including monthly closing, management accounts, P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, highlighting key insights for senior management.
• Manage cash flow, vendor payments, collections and banking relationships.
• Oversee invoicing, revenue recognition and basic cost allocation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, corporate policies and VAT requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and corporate service providers.
• Support investor reporting, KPI tracking and board‑level summaries.
• Implement and improve financial controls, policies and streamlined processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, preferably as a Finance Manager, Senior Accountant or FP&A professional.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements and cash‑flow management.
• Experience working in the UAE and familiarity with local VAT and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and build processes in a startup setting.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Based in the UAE and able to work UAE business hours.
