Finance Manager

About the role

At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, part of Accor Hotels, the Finance Manager leads the accounting team in Dubai, ensuring accurate financial operations that reflect the company’s values of respect, integrity, teamwork and empowerment. The role combines leadership, detailed financial reporting and hands‑on accounting to support the hotel’s performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the Accounting department, including Receiving and Stores, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Prepare and post journal entries and oversee month‑end closing, including P&L and forecasts.
• Maintain financial records in line with policies, perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and analysis.
• Coordinate timely issuance of daily financial reports and monitor VAT compliance.
• Participate in budget preparation and assist with financial audit readiness.
• Recruit, train and develop accounting supervisors and staff.
• Ensure accurate recording of revenues and expenses and adherence to departmental policies.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in accounting practices and principles.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Highly responsible, reliable and detail‑oriented.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain composure under guest‑focused pressure.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows operating system.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
