Finance Manager

About the role

This position offers a unique opportunity to combine regional financial leadership, operational influence, and business partnering within a leading international engineering and construction group. You will oversee the finance function across 17 Business Units in nine Middle Eastern countries, supporting three distinct business lines and approximately €50M in annual turnover.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial activities across 17 Business Units in 9 countries, coordinating taxation, banking, compliance, audit and reporting requirements.
• Manage complex project accounting, cash‑flow considerations and contract management within the construction sector.
• Lead and develop a multicultural, geographically dispersed finance team of 10‑12 professionals.
• Deliver financial analysis and performance insights to support profitability, cash‑flow optimisation and strategic decision‑making.
• Drive continuous improvement through digitalisation, reporting automation and finance process enhancements, including ERP, Salesforce, Power Query and Power BI.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 15 years of finance and accounting management experience, including at least 5 years of international taxation, external audit, transfer pricing, treasury and compliance exposure.
• Proven experience managing multi‑entity, multi‑currency, multi‑country reporting within an international group.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, internal controls, audit processes and group reporting standards.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
