Finance Manager

About the role

Whizz HR is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a leading Oil & Gas company in Abu Dhabi. The role involves strategic financial planning, reporting, budgeting and ensuring compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations.
• Monitor budgets, optimize costs, and manage cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and audits.
• Oversee banking relationships, working capital, and financial risk management.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.
• Strengthen financial processes, internal controls, and ERP reporting systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CFA certification is an advantage.
• 7–10 years of finance and accounting experience, including leadership experience.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks or similar.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
