Finance Manager – Large‑Scale Food Manufacturing

About the role

An experienced Finance Manager is required to lead the finance function of a large‑scale food and FMCG manufacturing operation in Dubai. The role will drive financial performance, cost control and commercial decision‑making while overseeing a team of around 15 finance professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all finance and accounting activities for the manufacturing business.
• Manage monthly reporting, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow analysis.
• Provide financial analysis and commercial insights to support strategic decisions.
• Oversee product costing, cost control initiatives and manufacturing accounting.
• Analyse production costs, yields, wastage, labour efficiency and overall operational performance.
• Partner with production, supply chain and commercial teams.
• Manage inventory accounting, stock valuation and working‑capital performance.
• Support pricing, margin analysis, customer profitability and investment decisions.
• Ensure strong financial controls, compliance and audit readiness.
• Review CAPEX proposals and monitor fixed‑asset management.
• Lead, mentor and develop a finance team of approximately 15 employees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA or CA.
• 8‑12 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in a Finance Manager role.
• Mandatory background in FMCG or food manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience in large‑scale manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated people‑management experience with sizeable teams.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, financial controls and working capital.
• Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics).
• GCC experience is advantageous.
