Finance Manager – Real Estate Development

About the role

We are seeking a senior Finance Manager to lead the financial strategy and planning for a fast‑growing real‑estate development business in Dubai. Reporting to the CEO / Group CFO, the role combines commercial insight with hands‑on finance expertise across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Oversee financial aspects of development projects from land acquisition through construction, sales and handover, including feasibility studies and profitability analysis.
• Lead cash‑flow forecasting, liquidity management, working‑capital optimisation and project funding arrangements.
• Manage relationships with UAE banks, negotiate loan facilities and support financing structures.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT and internal control standards, and supervise accounting, consolidation and audit processes.
• Mentor and develop the finance team, establishing KPIs and performance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA) preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior roles such as Finance Director, CFO or Head of Finance.
• Extensive experience with UAE‑based real‑estate developers and multiple development projects.
• Proven track record in project finance, financial modelling, cash‑flow management and treasury.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT and audit/internal control requirements.
