Finance Manager – Rent A Car

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the financial accounting, reporting, planning, treasury and compliance functions for the Rent‑A‑Car business unit of Legend Holding Group. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will ensure the financial health of the fleet operations and provide strategic insights for investment, pricing and profitability decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Present financial reports and KPIs to senior management and the Group Finance Director.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process with Fleet, Operations and Sales heads.
• Coordinate year‑end audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Oversee VAT, Corporate Tax and Withholding Tax filings and overall tax compliance.
• Monitor fleet‑related performance, including depreciation, residual values, insurance costs and utilization profitability.
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Review GL, intercompany and fleet account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies.
• Manage receivables aging, payables and working‑capital optimisation.
• Oversee daily cash flow, treasury management and relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Provide guidance to the Assistant Finance Manager and accounting team on transaction treatment and approvals.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of finance experience (96 months) in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations in the UAE.
• Proven ability to lead a finance team and manage complex budgeting cycles.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
