Finance Manager – UAE Entity

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to independently oversee end‑to‑end finance operations for our UAE entity, ensuring accurate reporting, tax compliance and effective cash management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day finance operations including general ledger, AR/AP, expenses, revenue and cost accounting, intercompany reconciliations and month‑end close.
• Handle UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and Free Zone tax compliance, coordinate with external advisors and mitigate tax risks.
• Prepare local financial statements, management reports and support group consolidation, audits and IFRS reporting.
• Own cash flow forecasting, banking relationships and treasury coordination, including 13‑week cash projections.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and business performance analysis, partnering with local teams on pricing, inventory and working‑capital decisions.
• Establish and continuously improve internal controls, payment processes and audit remediation.
• Build and develop the local finance function, define roles and drive ERP implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (or strong UAE finance track record).
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience, at least 3 years in a UAE finance role, preferably managing a standalone function.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and Free Zone regulations, including QFZP and Transfer Pricing.
• Proven ability to partner with business units and provide financial insights for decision‑making.

Required skills

• Proficiency with mainstream ERP and finance systems; SAP experience preferred.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or CMA are advantageous.
• Fluent English and good command of Chinese for stakeholder communication.
