Finance Manager – UAE

About the role

Bank Al Falah is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function of its UAE branch. The role ensures accurate accounting, timely regulatory reporting, and effective budget management while supporting the branch’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly financial statements and coordinate external audit.
• Submit regulatory reports required by the Central Bank and other authorities.
• Produce management reports and collaborate with IT to automate reporting.
• Develop and monitor the branch’s financial and HR budgets.
• Track expenses and KPIs, recommending cost‑saving measures.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors and regulatory inspection teams.
• Liaise with ICFR and GL proofing units for control testing and reconciliation.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register and process expenses per bank policy.
• Post HR‑related costs, manage salary and bonus payments, and ensure WHT/VAT compliance.
• Reconcile vouchers, sundry debtor/creditor accounts, and inter‑bank entries.

Required profile

• Graduation or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 8 years of finance and accounting experience in the banking sector.
• At least 3 years in a managerial position.
• Relevant professional certification is an advantage.
