Finance Specialist

About the role

Acino, a global pharmaceutical company operating in the Middle East and other emerging markets, is looking for a Finance Specialist to lead financial planning, analysis and business control across its Dubai operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year.
• Prepare management reports, executive dashboards and KPI analysis for senior leadership.
• Manage product costing, manufacturing finance and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Oversee inventory valuation, working capital management and inventory control processes.
• Coordinate month‑end and year‑end closing activities ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate accounting policies and internal financial controls.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial, Engineering, Quality and HR to support business decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Commerce.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA or CIMA) preferred.
• 8‑10 years progressive finance experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
