Financial Accounting Manager – EMEA

About the role

The EMEA Accounting and Reporting team is seeking a Financial Accounting Manager to lead end‑to‑end accounting for multiple Middle East and Africa entities, ensure audit readiness, and support month‑end close activities across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full cycle GL accounting and financial reporting for MEA legal entities.
• Coordinate external audits, prepare audit schedules, GL reconciliations and provide evidence to resolve auditor queries.
• Oversee payroll accounting, reconcile payroll registers with GL entries and bank disbursements.
• Maintain fixed assets, perform bank reconciliations and comprehensive monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Execute group and local month‑end closings in line with financial calendars.
• Conduct fluctuation analysis, business risk assessments and tax reviews.
• Collaborate with tax, payroll, legal, transfer pricing and finance business partners to resolve accounting queries.
• Ensure all account balances are audit‑ready and prepare supporting schedules for interim and year‑end audits.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• ACA, ACCA or CPA fully qualified with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end GL accounting and statutory reporting for entities in the Middle East and Africa.
• Practical knowledge of regional tax regulations (VAT, WHT, CIT) across the GCC.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
