Financial Analyst – AMEA Reporting

About the role

The Financial Analyst will join ENGIE Middle East’s AMEA reporting line, reporting to the Senior Financial Advisor or Head of AIFA. The role focuses on valuation, risk analysis, and financing of new projects across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead valuation and risk analysis for new projects, including the preparation of financial models.
• Assist in, or lead when delegated, the structuring and execution of financing plans and selection of funding sources.
• Supervise, train and coach junior team members and oversee non‑project related AIFA activities such as annual impairment tests.
• Monitor liquidity, market trends, and competitor financing approaches in the project finance debt market.
• Ensure compliance with investment guidelines and prepare financing, accounting and tax inputs for models.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in project finance, valuation, or financial analysis.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior analysts.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
