Financial Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on financial reporting, P&L and balance‑sheet analysis, budgeting, forecasting and ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Conduct detailed P&L and balance‑sheet variance analysis and identify trends.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities.
• Ensure financial reporting is accurate, timely and IFRS‑compliant.
• Create management reports, dashboards and analytical insights for senior stakeholders.
• Investigate financial variances and provide recommendations.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Perform reconciliations to guarantee data accuracy.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Risk, Operations and Business teams.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to aid decision‑making.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting or management accounting.
• Strong hands‑on experience with P&L and balance‑sheet analysis.
• Good understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
