Financial Analyst – Retail Division

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support the Retail Division of Mohamed Hilal Group by delivering accurate financial analysis that drives commercial and operational decisions. You will work across multiple functions to uncover trends, assess risks, and provide actionable insights that enhance profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales, revenue, gross margin, operating expenses and profitability across stores, brands and locations.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly retail performance against targets and prepare performance reports.
• Track key retail KPIs such as sales growth, average transaction value, conversion rates and sales per square foot.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, and perform variance analysis.
• Develop financial projections for new stores, expansions, relocations and other retail initiatives.
• Conduct store‑level performance reviews, identify under‑performing locations and investigate financial drivers.
• Analyse inventory levels, stock turnover, ageing, markdowns and sell‑through performance.
• Assess the financial impact of promotions, discounts and commercial campaigns.
