Financial Analyst – Technology Supplier Cost Management

About the role

Support the management of technology expenditure, supplier performance, commercial analysis, and cost optimisation initiatives across Etihad's technology portfolio. Partner with Technology, Finance, Procurement and vendors to provide cost transparency and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse technology spend across software, cloud, infrastructure, telecoms, managed services and professional services.
• Prepare budget, forecast and variance reports to support financial planning and governance.
• Build financial models and business cases, including ROI, TCO, NPV, IRR and pay‑back analysis.
• Support supplier reviews, contract renewals, commercial negotiations and vendor performance tracking.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and track savings realisation across technology investments.
• Develop dashboards and management reports highlighting spend trends, supplier performance, risks and opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT, Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in technology finance, IT commercial management, vendor management or strategic sourcing.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience analysing budgets, forecasts, supplier spend and business cases.
• Proven stakeholder management and executive reporting capability.
