Financial Assurance Analyst

About the role

The Financial Assurance Analyst supports the Finance Manager – Quality in maintaining the highest standards of financial quality and control across the organization. The role focuses on rigorous review of balance‑sheet reconciliations and substantiation of account balances worldwide, as well as analysis of variances between actual results and forecasts.

Key responsibilities

• Execute detailed, independent reviews of complex balance‑sheet account reconciliations prepared by regional finance teams, ensuring compliance with the Global Quality Framework and BSR standards.
• Verify that account balances are fully supported, documented, and aligned with internal policies and global accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Identify recurring documentation or policy compliance issues and report findings for remediation.
• Collaborate with the ARCS Admin Team and regional users to ensure correct use of the reconciliation tool and flag control gaps.
• Support variance analysis by collecting documentation, validating root causes, and preparing summary schedules for executive reporting.
• Maintain tracking logs for audit findings, control deficiencies, and reconciliation adjustments, coordinating follow‑up with regional controllers.
• Reinforce internal control procedures and promote best practices for account substantiation across the organization.
• Provide feedback for process improvement and contribute to reporting packages for senior finance leadership.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in balance‑sheet reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Good understanding of internal control frameworks and audit remediation processes.
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor and communicate findings clearly.
• Familiarity with global accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
