Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the division’s financial control, accounting and reporting functions, ensuring robust policies and practices that support the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement finance and accounting plans, policies and procedures aligned with corporate strategy, including cost‑benefit analyses.
• Monitor cash flow, forecast financial needs and ensure availability of funds for operations.
• Oversee compliance with financial and accounting procedures across the division.
• Manage contractual obligations, report deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with treasury to secure financing, evaluate costs and negotiate terms.
• Supervise preparation of financial statements and coordinate internal and statutory audits.
• Approve the annual budget in partnership with FP&A, reviewing proposals and ensuring strategic alignment.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and collaborate with tax advisors.
• Enforce group policies, monitor adherence and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop the annual budget for the multimedia division, covering back‑office and store operations.
• Recruit, train, motivate and evaluate the finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• MBA, CFA, CPA/CA is a plus.
• 8–10 years of experience in a similar financial controller role.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience.
• Proven experience in cash‑flow management, budgeting and audit coordination.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with ERP systems.
