Financial Crime Testing / UAT Consultant

About the role

Capitex is looking for an experienced Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Testing / UAT Consultant to lead User Acceptance Testing and Quality Assurance for transaction monitoring initiatives in Dubai. The role ensures that FCC changes meet regulatory, business and risk requirements before go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute UAT and QAT strategies, test plans and schedules for FCC projects.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into detailed test scenarios and cases.
• Validate transaction monitoring outputs, including alert generation, false‑positive reduction and risk coverage.
• Perform data mapping, quality and completeness checks across source systems and FCC platforms such as SAS.
• Log, track and manage defects, conduct root‑cause analysis and produce audit‑ready test artefacts.
• Collaborate with FCC SMEs, compliance, IT, data teams, vendors and PMO to align testing with delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Strong experience in FCC testing, UAT and QAT, especially for transaction monitoring.
• Solid understanding of AML/CFT regulations and transaction monitoring concepts.
• Ability to work under tight timelines in a regulated environment.
