Financial Services Regulatory Associate (Dubai)

About the role

Join CMS’s rapidly expanding Financial Services Regulatory practice in the UAE. Based in Dubai (or Abu Dhabi), you will work closely with the Financial Regulatory Partner on a wide range of non‑contentious regulatory matters across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, supporting a diverse client base that includes banks, fintech firms, asset managers and government entities.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on regulatory licensing and authorisation applications before UAE and Saudi regulators such as the DFSA, FSRA, CBUAE and SCA/CMA.
• Support clients with ongoing conduct, governance and compliance obligations, including client onboarding, marketing rules and disclosure requirements.
• Assist with outsourcing and third‑party arrangements, preparing regulatory assessments and reviewing outsourcing agreements.
• Draft, review and negotiate regulatory‑facing documentation, policies, procedures and client terms.
• Provide regulatory guidance on new product launches, fintech, payments and digital‑asset offerings.
• Address cross‑border regulatory issues for services provided into the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
