Fine Fragrance Evaluator

About the role

Givaudan’s Regional Creative Centre in Dubai is seeking a Fine Fragrance Evaluator to join its dynamic team. Reporting to the Senior Evaluator, you will play a pivotal role in selecting winning fragrances for clients, managing briefs, and collaborating with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage internal resources and prioritize projects according to senior leadership direction.
• Develop action plans, timetables, and general fragrance directions for each brief.
• Organise and lead evaluation sessions, assess candidate fragrances, and provide detailed feedback to perfumers.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure brief requirements are met and feedback is communicated.
• Motivate perfumers, investigate promising olfactive routes, and contribute to the development of the fragrance library.
• Deliver olfactory presentations to clients and support marketing with strategic scent judgments.
• Conduct market research to understand consumer attitudes and client culture, and share insights with affiliates.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in perfumery or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing evaluation projects in the fine fragrances category.
• Strong knowledge of fragrance trends, consumer behavior, and marketing concepts.
• Excellent teamwork skills and comfort working in a culturally diverse environment.
• Proven project‑management abilities.
