Fintech Architect

About the role

The Fintech Architect will design and manage digital fintech security for customer digital journeys, reporting to the Manager of Digital Security Architecture. The role collaborates with engineering, digital, and business teams to protect ADIB data from internal and external threats.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and security architecture standards for fintech and digital assets.
• Lead implementation of digital security solutions, architecture reviews, and roadmap planning.
• Conduct data privacy impact assessments, third‑party vendor assessments, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Serve as the digital security point of contact, providing advisory services to various departments and project teams.
• Evaluate acquisition documents against security architectures and manage security configuration baselines across applications, systems, and networks.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of banking processes, mobile & online banking, payments, treasury, and trade finance applications.
• Experience with cloud security and architecture in both cloud and on‑prem environments.

Required skills

• Security certifications such as TOGAF, CCIE, CCSP, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, ITIL.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NESA, PCI DSS, SWIFT, SABSA/TOGAF standards.
• Expertise in security engineering, network security, authentication protocols, cryptography, and application security.
• Designing DevOps pipelines for cloud and on‑prem environments.
