Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting & Pump Technician – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Levant Core Technical Services is seeking skilled technicians to join its maintenance team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves supporting fire alarm, fire fighting, and pump room operations across multiple sites, ensuring all systems run safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on fire alarm panels, detectors, manual call points and related devices.
• Maintain fire fighting equipment such as hose reels, landing valves, extinguishers, sprinkler accessories and pump room components.
• Service water, jockey, diesel and electric pumps, including controllers, motors, pressure gauges, flow meters and associated valves.
• Identify common faults like low pressure, leaks, abnormal noise, vibration, overheating, controller alarms and battery issues.
• Read basic drawings, equipment labels and manuals to guide maintenance activities.
• Prepare daily service reports and site observations in English.
• Coordinate with FM, MEP, site teams and clients while adhering to safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Required profile

• Previous hands‑on experience in fire alarm, fire fighting or pump maintenance.
• Basic proficiency in English for reporting and communication.
• Physically fit and able to work in active plant rooms and multiple locations.
• Disciplined, punctual, safety‑conscious and able to work under pressure.
• UAE driving licence preferred but not mandatory.
