Fire Chief – Emergency Response

About the role

The Fire Chief provides strategic and operational leadership for fire and emergency services across NAFFCO sites in Dubai. This senior role ensures the safety of people, property and assets by directing firefighting, prevention and emergency response activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate operational response to fires, alarms and other emergencies, ensuring incidents are managed safely and effectively.
• Develop, maintain and execute incident command procedures, defining clear roles, responsibilities and escalation routes.
• Oversee fire risk assessments, prevention programmes and corrective actions to minimise fire‑related incidents.
• Advise on building design, fire detection and suppression systems, and safe operating procedures.
• Develop, review and implement fire and emergency policies, plans and procedures in line with statutory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain emergency response plans, business continuity interfaces and site evacuation strategies.
• Plan and deliver realistic training programmes, simulated exercises and joint drills with internal teams and external partners.
• Produce incident reports, performance metrics and management information for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Relevant professional qualifications in fire safety or fire engineering.
