Fire Instructor

About the role

NAFFCO is seeking an experienced Fire Instructor to deliver both theoretical and practical fire safety training in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves preparing trainees for emergency response, rescue operations and the safe use of firefighting equipment, in line with NFPA standards and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom sessions, practical drills, simulations and demonstrations covering fire safety, firefighting techniques and rescue procedures.
• Prepare lesson plans, training materials and practical exercises to support effective learning.
• Assess trainee performance through competency tests and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, training activities and assessment results.
• Ensure all training activities are conducted safely and in accordance with approved procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of UAE experience as a Fire Instructor, Firefighter or equivalent.
• NFPA 1041 Fire Instructor I/II and NFPA 1001 Firefighter I/II certifications, or recognized equivalents.
• Additional certifications in HAZMAT, Emergency Response or Fire & Rescue are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of firefighting operations, fire safety regulations and practical training methods.
