First Officer – Non Type Rated (Pilot)

About the role

flydubai is seeking a qualified First Officer (Non Type Rated) to act as the second‑in‑command on its aircraft. You will support the Captain in delivering safe, efficient and compliant flights while upholding the airline’s high standards of professionalism and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Captain in overall responsibility for the safe operation of the airplane, crew, passengers and cargo.
• Perform delegated flight duties in line with flydubai policies, UAE GCAA and international aviation regulations.
• Monitor aircraft systems, performance and navigation, addressing any irregularities promptly.
• Conduct pre‑flight, in‑flight and post‑flight checks of emergency systems and flight‑deck equipment.
• Identify, document and report safety incidents, SOP breaches or operational irregularities through proper channels.
• Support crew management from reporting for duty at the Dubai base through out‑station duties and post‑flight release.

Required profile

• Ability to support the Captain and share responsibility for safe, compliant aircraft operation.
• Commitment to adhere to UAE GCAA, international regulations and flydubai’s operational manuals.
• Willingness to act professionally in normal and contingency situations under the Captain’s authority.

Required skills

• Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles.
• Knowledge of UAE GCAA regulations.
• Familiarity with flydubai Operations Manuals, SOPs and flight‑deck equipment.
