Fit-Out and Joinery Site Engineer

About the role

Paramount International Contracting and Interiors, a contracting and interiors company in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is hiring a Fit-Out and Joinery Site Engineer. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities for interior fit-out and joinery works, working closely with design and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise site execution and coordinate with project managers, subcontractors and suppliers so that work follows approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor progress, manage site resources and prepare daily and weekly reports.
• Support project planning and scheduling to meet timelines.
• Conduct site inspections and enforce health and safety standards.
• Resolve technical issues and assist with material approvals and installation details.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in site supervision, construction coordination and day-to-day project management for interior projects.
• Previous experience in UAE or GCC fit-out and joinery projects is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work full-time on site in Abu Dhabi and adapt to project-based schedules.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of fit-out and joinery works, including drawings, materials and installation methods.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and shop drawings; CAD or similar design software is an advantage.
• Knowledge of construction standards, quality control procedures and health and safety regulations for interior fit-outs.
• Effective communication, teamwork, organisation and problem-solving skills.
