Fixed Assets & Inventory Manager (CMA/CAMS/CFAP)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Fixed Assets & Inventory Manager to lead the management of capital assets, leasing operations and multi‑site inventory for our client in the environmental and energy sector. The role ensures accurate asset registers, compliance with IFRS 16 and optimises utilisation across sustainable projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full fixed‑asset lifecycle, including capital expenditures, depreciation, impairment assessments and disposals.
• Manage operational and capital leasing for machinery, equipment, fleet vehicles and project sites.
• Control multi‑site inventory through regular cycle counts, physical audits and variance reconciliations.
• Develop and enforce internal control policies for asset tagging, movement tracking and warehouse operations.
• Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Mentor inventory control staff, set performance metrics and drive process optimisation.
• Coordinate with engineering and operations to capitalise green projects and transition them into fixed‑asset accounts.
• Integrate ERP asset modules (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365) to automate logging and improve financial reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain or related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA or CPIM.
• 8‑10 years of experience in fixed assets, inventory control and capital project accounting, with managerial responsibility.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
