Flavours Sales Director

About the role

The company, a long‑established international developer of flavours and ingredient solutions, is seeking a Flavours Sales Director to drive regional growth from its Dubai hub. Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, the role covers the Middle East, with a focus on Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC, Pakistan, the Levant and selected North African markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial growth strategy for the Middle East flavours business.
• Own the regional business plan, sales targets and profitable results.
• Lead a Dubai‑based team of 4‑5 professionals and coordinate a wider network of flavourists, application specialists and regulatory experts.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, including new markets and product applications.
• Lead customer projects from opportunity through technical development to commercial delivery.
• Maintain close collaboration with European headquarters and the Health & Beauty division.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of sales and account‑management experience in the flavours industry.
• Direct experience of the Middle East flavours market and established relationships in Saudi Arabia, UAE or GCC.
• Proven record of developing accounts, winning new business and delivering profitable growth.
• Experience leading and developing commercial or technical teams.
• Strong commercial judgement, negotiation and cross‑cultural communication skills.
