Fleet Coordinator – Vehicle & Driver Management

About the role

The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for overseeing POWERTECH’s vehicle fleet and driver workforce across Abu Dhabi. This role ensures safe, compliant, and cost‑effective operations by managing driver schedules, vehicle maintenance, fuel usage and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch logistics drivers for supplier pickups, warehouse transfers and customer deliveries.
• Coordinate administrative drivers for staff, executive and inter‑site transport requests.
• Maintain a live fleet register with vehicle details, mileage, service history and driver assignments.
• Plan preventive maintenance, arrange servicing and repairs with approved garages.
• Track fuel consumption, approve fuel card spend and flag anomalies.
• Monitor fleet operating costs (fuel, maintenance, insurance, depreciation) and produce regular cost reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE road transport regulations and internal HSE policies, keeping all licences and certificates audit‑ready.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly KPI reports for the Logistics Manager.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in fleet coordination, transport management or logistics operations.
• Good knowledge of UAE traffic and vehicle compliance regulations.
• Ability to manage driver rosters, shift handovers and documentation accurately.
• Strong analytical skills for cost monitoring and reporting.

Required skills

• Experience with fleet management or GPS tracking systems.
• Familiarity with fuel card platforms.
• Proficiency in maintaining vehicle service records and compliance documentation.
