Fleet Manager – FMCG & Logistics

About the role

Parker Connect is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to lead vehicle operations for its FMCG and food‑manufacturing business across Ajman, Fujairah and Sharjah. You will be responsible for ensuring timely product delivery while maintaining safety, cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and monitor transportation and delivery schedules to meet product demand.
• Oversee daily fleet operations, including trucks, vans and logistics vehicles.
• Optimize routing to reduce fuel consumption and transit time.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes.
• Ensure all vehicles comply with safety standards, licences, permits and inspections.
• Enforce safety protocols, investigate incidents and maintain RTA compliance.
• Manage fleet expenses such as fuel, maintenance, insurance and depreciation.
• Identify and execute cost‑saving initiatives.
• Hire, train and supervise drivers, monitoring performance and providing feedback.
• Prepare performance and cost reports for senior management.
• Implement fleet management software and GPS tracking systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• 10+ years of fleet management experience, preferably in FMCG.
• Proven experience managing large fleets and external service providers.
• UAE logistics experience and knowledge of RTA regulations is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated leadership, budget management and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
