Flight Dispatcher

About the role

As a Flight Dispatcher at Etihad Airways, you will be at the heart of the Operations Control Centre, ensuring each flight is planned, monitored, and executed safely and efficiently. You will work closely with pilots, air traffic services, maintenance, and other operational stakeholders to support a fast‑growing global airline.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and release operational flight plans (OFPs) and calculate fuel, payload, and performance parameters.
• File ATS flight plans in line with regulatory requirements and provide crews with all necessary operational information.
• Monitor flights in real time, communicate weather, route, or airport changes, and recommend alternates during disruptions.
• Analyse weather reports, NOTAMs, airport conditions, and airspace restrictions to assess operational risks.
• Liaise with Maintenance Control on MEL items and collaborate with pilots, ATC, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with GCAA regulations, company procedures, and safety standards.
