Floor Supervisor – Restaurant Operations

About the role

The Floor Supervisor supports the F&B Services Supervisor by leading the restaurant floor during service, ensuring guest standards are met, coordinating the floor team and maintaining service areas throughout the shift.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee dining floor operations, manage seating, table turns and section coverage in line with reservations and walk‑in flow.
• Conduct regular floor rounds, support waiters and food runners during peak periods, and coordinate ticket timing with Kitchen and Bar.
• Attend pre‑shift briefings, hand over shift information, and perform final floor checks at closing.
• Guide and support floor staff on procedures, service standards and grooming, while monitoring attendance and punctuality.
• Handle cashiering duties, support upselling, and manage cash, stock or company property responsibly.
• Engage with guests, monitor satisfaction, address routine requests and complaints, and coordinate special arrangements for VIPs and large groups.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety standards, and report hazards or incidents promptly.
• Complete floor checklists, logs and handover notes, and report stock shortages or equipment issues.

Required profile

• Visible leadership presence on the floor with the ability to guide waiters and food runners.
• Strong communication skills to interact with guests, staff and other departments.
• Ability to monitor attendance, punctuality and service standards, reporting concerns as needed.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays in a high‑volume environment.
