Food & Beverage Attendant

About the role

Join the Food & Beverage team at InterContinental Abu Dhabi as a F&B Attendant, delivering warm, attentive service to guests in a luxury hotel environment. You will help create memorable dining experiences through professional interaction, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage seating, and respond to dining requirements.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
• Provide menu information, ingredient details, promotions, and dining options.
• Set up and maintain tables, service areas, and restaurant equipment to established standards.
• Keep the restaurant clean, organized, and presentable throughout the shift.
• Anticipate guest needs, handle feedback, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, and other F&B colleagues for smooth service.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health‑and‑safety, and responsible service procedures.
• Support opening and closing duties and assist with special events.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a food‑and‑beverage service role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Positive, friendly, guest‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse team.
• Attention to detail and efficiency in a busy environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Willingness to learn, develop, and grow within the operation.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
